ok, lets talk strategy:
did everybody just pick three people they thought would be out early, or did you pick 3 people you thought probably wouldnt get picked much (to keep thier points down)?

[/ QUOTE ]

I had this same question and no one seems to be tipping their hand at all.

I'm voting luckayluck on a premise that if people did select others they thought would go out early, luckayluck could be on a lot of peoples lists (read - has many points and could be very powerful).

[/ QUOTE ]

Congrats on being 1 of 3 people that picked me.
Sucker.

I picked people I thought would get some votes but not a lot. I figured very well known players would get a lot of votes, Books & SH, for example and I felt that relatively new players might get a lot of votes, such as Lucky and Bluff. I think based on the number of votes I got, the voting was pretty spread around and that the chances of someone with no points or 8 or more points is pretty slim.

One possible addition in the future-There could be extra points alloted to anyone that correctly guesses everyone that picked them. Maybe 1 guess just on the first day before anyone has had a chance to use their seer abilities or whatever.

so um, voting new people is clearly the best strategy here.

Most people would be too scared to give the good WW players points, for fear that they'd own it up in this game. I'm willing to bet like 75% of the players picked new/crappy WW players, so they're going to be the most dangerous.

this is probably true since i got less pts than i expected too. Well, I may be a crappy player but i am not a n00b

problem is voting off the players with lots of pts early is not a great strategy. They can probably block the lynch one way or another

This could become exponentially harder as more people disappear throughout the game. Voting the power players is going to be key, you don't want them hanging around the end

I think that bobo probably did not get as many points as you would expect in this game. People probably worried that if they chose him he would get uber powerful. The newb theory is more likely the case.
