Why does Stinkypete get so much love when I've said the exact same thing the last few months?

[/ QUOTE ]Ermmm... you basically said something about winrates, that they exist. Stinkypete OTOH writes very intelligently and knows what he's talking about. See the difference?

[/ QUOTE ]

I just see that you cannot read

way to admit it on a public forum

acceptance is the first step

imo there should be regular and deep games (50bb plus) at each level and then we can see which are most popular by natural selection... the only possible complainants are shortstackers that like ruining deepstack games, but hey guys you can always take up sngs!

Also please god 25/50 6max and 50/100...

Thremp,
your point is understandable

Janis, OTOH, was just trying to single me out and, instead, showed that he doesn't really read what I write despite arguing with me.

This is what the argumentation from you generally looks like and then you ask us why you're not getting more respect?

yep...I play only for the money. If I wanted the life fulfillment stuff, I'd chose a much better field than poker. In essence, professional poker players are shortstacking life (Think about it).

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow a shortstack only playing for the money? Really? I thought it was because you liked to see showdowns.

[ QUOTE ]
as another analogy, something I see alot are guys playing middle and end game chess, but have not put in the work on openings.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's a terrible analogy. For several reasons, but one of which is that pre-flop is often the most debated street even though it is the least important (within certain ranges). The second is that it can still be worth giving up EV to the shortstack in order to take shots at larger stacks.

[ QUOTE ]
Why does Stinkypete get so much love when I've said the exact same thing the last few months? My heart is broken.

[/ QUOTE ]

Stinkypete has been beating the biggest consistently running games online by shortstacking for at least a year and a half. He also doesn't make claims like Stars is rigged, the NBA is rigged, the NCAAs are rigged, or laugh at one of the top MSNL players' results.

[ QUOTE ]
big surprise that baldsweaters wants 30BB buyins...hooray for raising the edge of one of the best players!

[/ QUOTE ]

Is this supposed to be some rallying cry for the impovrished poker player? In games where Building Sweaters has the biggest edge, other full stacks figure to have an edge as well (so long as they play good). I know you shortstacks take a perverse pride in reducing edges, but this is absurd.

and so is party. party is more rigged though. if it was absolute poker i'd be 99% sure krisqueen has a superuser account. for now i'm only like 80% sure.

The great thing JanisN is that there is a post with you actually acknowledging me putting forth the same argument stinkypete does here and ridiculing that very same argument.

hooray for personal attacks
