Re: OT: [censored] thread, OCTOBER, READ RULES IN TOP POST
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Do you think it's bad that I never really had any work experience before and that I'm 21? I never worked a job before besides playing poker. Will that affect me once I graduate with my bussiness degree? [/ QUOTE ] Is this a serious question? [/ QUOTE ] yes it is why? |

[/ QUOTE ] 250 is morbidly obese I think. My friend is only 5'11. I'm about 5'7 175 pounds and I'm almost obese. |

Re: OT: [censored] thread, OCTOBER, READ RULES IN TOP POST
U scrawny ass internet kids can sure be ignorant.
A BMI of 40.0 or higher is severely (or morbidly) obese. So, a 2m tall individual would have to be ~350lbs to be morbidly obese. To simply be obese, they would have to be 264.5lbs. |

I'm 6'1, my body fat is 30% and I weigh 252 or so right now. I have a pretty good sized frame, but I'm not barrel-chested or anything.
Oh yeah, you gain about 1lb a year just in bone density and natural muscle mass I think as you get older. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Someone help me! Am I being messed up here? Is it messed up that I don't want my friend to sit on my computer chair or bed because he might mess it up? He weighs about 250 pounds and his old computer chair can't go up or down any more so he had to get a new one. Am I being a jerk here? It's my new computer chair that I brought for 120 bucks which is alot for me =0. [/ QUOTE ] One of my fatass housemates broke the camp chair my parents had given me as a high school graduation present by planting his fat ass in it. I got back at him by chucking a live chicken at him and his (also fat) girlfriend while they were lying in bed mostly naked at 6 am. I'd say on the whole the chicken definitely got the worst of that series of events. [/ QUOTE ] Got a good laugh from this one. |

[ QUOTE ]
The only thing that watching Office Space has taught me is that selling magazine subscriptions as a retarded cracked out black man is the nuts. Also, the problem with work + part time poker is that I either a) can't have a life or b) hardly play much poker. Yugoslav [/ QUOTE ] Make that part-time work + part-time poker. Or, you can take the Peter Gibbons approach and just stop going (paying bills optional obv.). Or at least without being totally unprofessional, you can be at work less if they're just keeping you around to axe you at their convenience Being good at poker takes hard work and consistent effort. It may just be a short-term solution for you and is a grind like a job in the long-run, but the more you can put into it, the better off you're going to be in it (without driving yourself totally crazy, of course). If you want to have some life now, do what I used to do - at boring job that paid me, spend some time in the day studying poker - go over hand ranges, numbers, probability, strategy analysis, etc., etc. I mean, staring at your cubicle for an hour when you come into work is great and all, but being efficient with day-job/poker is prob. the better way to go. Did I get in enough OS references? Fractions of pennies FTW. |

Re: OT: [censored] thread, OCTOBER, READ RULES IN TOP POST
A couple things first
http://www.sngicons.com/geeklog.php?topic=Pudge714 I'm giving away free coaching or HH review for like 30 mins of work tops. So I advise looking at the stuff. Slimon, The first question is fine since it is a personal preference question etc. Of course not working before will effect you in getting a job this is common sense. DevinLake, BMI is really dumb as a measure of health. |

DevinLake, BMI is really dumb as a measure of health. [/ QUOTE ] I know, and I don't use it. But, I think it illustrated well how dumb people were being with the morbidly obese comments. |
