this is total bs. just b/c a person likes a band/group has little to do with whether or not the person in interesting or not. some of the most interesting people i've met have been avid deadheads.

i think the most uninteresting people are those who listen to the radio or pop culture for inspiration rather than actually going out and finding music they like.

I haven't combed through the response but it is kind of weird that I get home and you have this post front page since only a few hours ago I was thinking this exact same thing from a situation that arrived.

A guy asked this girl where a movie theater was b/c he wanted to see The Da Vinci Code and she said, "Oh wow, I want to see that too!" I wanted to know if she sucked or not so I said, "The book sucked so why would you want to see the movie?" She thinks this is crazy and says, "No way! That was the best book I have ever read, and I think most of America agrees with me." I said, "Well the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears have sold close to a 100 million albums, does that make it great music?"

I now know she sucks b/c of this conversation. I thought about it for awhile and realized that the music category is so big when dealing with sucktitude, the list could go on forever.
