its a check fold vs unkown. check call if he bets small enough, if he bets turn here its almost always a better hand.

You might try to blocker bet tho, its something im gonna try, because i just get floated in these spots way too often i think (or maybe they just got it most of the time lol.)

Hey guys I posted this in the HU forum, but I like your guy's opinions even though most of you play 6max. What do you think?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$0.50/$1 Blinds
2 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BB: $111
Tickner (SB): $126.70

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Tickner (SB)
<font color="red">Tickner raises to $3</font>
<font color="red">BB raises to $5</font>
Tickner calls $2

Flop: ($10) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $10</font>
<font color="red">Tickner raises to $31</font>
BB calls $21

Turn: ($72) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $75 and is All-In</font>
Tickner?

This guy seems to be "decent" if that means anything. We played about 20 hands so far and he hasn't done anything interesting. I found it odd that he min 3bet PF since I have seen him make pot size 3bets so far. His flop bet is standard for basically his whole range, but when he calls I do get a little scared (I'd rather him push so I'd know he had Axc or QQ+ for example).

Anyway, on the turn, I am semi-lost. I don't know what the hell he could have here. Do you guys have any ideas?

P.S. This conversion is from the NEW legooker HH converter, and will be available in a few days time for beta use.

I'd say the min 3bet pf has to be something like QQ+. Then again I haven't played HU against him. If this is the first hand at the table I would definately call his allin. Maybe this could be AcKc too. JT, or a set (except QQ) seems unlikely to me.

I don't see how the Q changes anything. He might have picked up added outs or called with a Q-hi flush-draw and hit top pair. If he was slowplaying a set on the flop he might be afraid that you'll check behind now so maybe that is one thing to worry about.

Basically I'm pretty sure that you have to call and that it's +EV in the long run.

It's not that the Q changes anything. That's not an important part of this hand. It's more so how he put his money in and why he chose that way.

OK, I'd guess that a lot of the time the turn gave him added outs so that he wants to see the river, he's willing to put his stack in, but he'd also like to see if he can make you fold anything.

Or, he has a better made hand and is afraid you'll check behind with a FD.

Or, he hit the Q with a drawing hand and thinks he outdrew you.
