I am now breakeven for 40k hands. (No, this isn't a joke). The pattern is this:

Sean works up slowly, mainly by skillful play of marginal hands since the the only people willing to get it all in when he has something big are short stackers. Then comes the hand where hits a straight/flush/boat on the turn or river, bets as he should, then villain shoves/CRAI river and shows Sean his higher straight/boat/flush in a pot of at least 150BBs. Sean weeps bitter tears. Rinse lather repeat.

Final Table of the Party 2K Guaranteed $1 Rebuy, and I'm proud to say that I've absolutely luckboxed my way through the whole thing. 3/7 in chips right now, got a decent shot at a couple hundred buckos if I can win a flip or two.

Edit: Out in 5th, $120. Not bad for a $2.60 investment
