I just drafted today in a 14 team PPR league. I am very receiver heavy. I just offered Terry Glenn and Joey Galloway for Chad Johnson. This would be a great play for me, especially since I have decent WRs on the bench (A. Toomer, E. Kennison, and James Jones), right?

Also, the guy I'm trading with currently is so thin he has Ron Dayne in his WR/RB flex position, which makes him more likely to take the trade.

Edit...and it was rejected in 1 min. Damn

Wow, my friends are idiots.

10 team league, NO ppr, QB/2 RB/3 WR/TE/K/D

QB: E. Manning
RB: Gore, Parker, Portis, Green, Jackson
WR: CJ, Wayne, Driver, S. Moss, Jackson, Holmes
TE: Shockey
K: Gostkowski
D: MN

A non-idiot friend's team, same league:
QB: McNabb, Romo
RB: LJ, McGahee, TJones, Taylor, Jordan
WR: Fitzgerald, RWilliams, Burress, Clayton, Curry
TE: Crumpler
K: Rackers
D: Dallas

Despite ending up with Eli at QB, my team tops his handily, right?

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't say handily, but yes over the course of a season I give your team the edge. He has you on QB by a wide margin. I give slight edge at RB to you, but I like his #3 tons more than yours. You have him at WR by a bit.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think I'm the only person in the world who likes Portis this year.

[/ QUOTE ]

You, and all the other Portis owners

OK so far..

1: Gore
2: Edge
3: R. Wayne
4: R. Moss
5: M. Colson - to cover moss
6: Ben Roth
7: J. Norwood - I like this
8: S. Moss
9: M. Turner - not bad
10: V. Davis
11: B. Favre
12: GB D
13: N. Folk - sleeper
14: M. Nugent
15: Cincy

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow the Big Ben pick is horrible. Interesting you get Favre 5 rounds later and he's the superior QB, IMO. Don't like the Moss pick in 4th, but Colston in 5th is nice. The Norwood and V. Davis picks are good value.

Rightfully so. Terrible trade for him. I have no experience with 14 team leagues, but having a WR core of T. Glenn, Galloway, Toomer, Kennison & J. Jones seems really really horrible to me.

You drafted San Diego Defense in the 7th round. Also, Randy McMichael is your TE. And your 3rd RB is Chester Taylor.

Not a good draft.

Just my preference, but if you have some fantasy statistics that make my statement LOL worthy, go ahead and post them.

McMichael is fine as a starting TE. Your other comments are valid though
