tbh, I buddylisted a couple regs who have good table selection. Then I just follow them around to see if they've found any fish that I don't know of.

seriously, i don't think this is a great idea cos when you get to a table you are usually sitting in the fishes place as they are the one most likely to leave.

it would be aweseome if you buddylisted some tagfishes who happen to have awesome game selection so you wouldn't mind playing with them, but unfortunately the tagfishes often have terrible tableselection

Wow good to know I'm not a paranoid freak lol - I actually hide myself from search because of this very possibility.

Another great tactic is to filter the lobby by Waitlist size, and jump all over any big anomalies.
