bad 3 barrel spot (really bad, dan, dunno why youd make this move in this spot...) [/ QUOTE ] The two-barreling type 1/2 boards has been an unmitigated disaster for me Rob. I know you said to 2-barrel wide and 3-barrel never with this kind of board, but I wanted to experiment, because I always fold this river (or get shown better when I crying call with Tx). I wanted to see what would happen. And no matter what everyone says, I still think the call is massive Gbux loser, at least against me. It's ludicrous to think I have a bluff the requisite ~30% of the time. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think what you're saying is right in theory, but in application people in Yve's spot will never fold, which again is why it's a bad 3barrel. Dave showed me the two hands he sent you, both looked good, really. One was a bad call on your opponents end and the other was a flip spot w/ the big draw. |

Re: Official November Thread: General Discussion
X-post: My relative is opening up a beef jerky business and if you would like free samples, PM me your address/PO Box/mailbox etc.
If you are concerned about security, you can create a new 2+2 account and PM me. I don't need to know your name but you can provide it if you like. An address is fine. About the beef jerky. The samples will be in three flavors. Curry, teriyaki, and BBQ. It's a little spicy but this depends on your tolerance. I am confident those who like beef jerky won't be disappointed with its quality. If you don't like it, think of it as an early Christmas gift PS. The legendary BobboFitos, one who never shy from trying new concepts, has already signed up. Also, the limit of requests is at 10 so first come, first serve. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Is there any reason to move down other than to build confidence? I mean, if I can't beat 2/4, I can't play poker for a living. And if I'm a losing player making bad decisions, the only thing that 1/2 will do for me is cut my loss rate in half.
