-9 buyins today over 2.5k hands playing heads-up. never playing it again. no longer bankrolled for 100nl. gonna get back to grinding tomorrow.

HU can be swingy as hell but i'd say its one of the most profitable forms of poker if you can keep control of your emotions and not let your ego get in the way by quitting guys that are decent and so on. But judging from the hands you posted yesterday you are not utilising your poker edge over bad players by getting into marginal spots with them.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is so true, over the last couple of months i have been getting in far, far too many marginal spot vs bad players. i have been justifying it to myself by just remembering the times that ive called and was ahead; and blanking all the (vast majority of) times where i am behind. the worse thing is, i know im beat 95% of the time when i call, i just cant help myself (also, sometimes i put someone on a hand and look them up, just to see if i was right ( )).
i was just looking through the psychology forum and found a post where someone has a problem similar to mine
Link

this is a serious problem, which i need to solve asap. if anyone can give me some advice or something i will appreciate it greatly.

Bubaloo, my thouht would be rather than trying to pick a hand for the villain, start tyring to list hands that you think are in in his range to urself and see which ones make sense based on the action, reads, etc.

i do do that, the problem is i cant fold when i know i am behind/crushed by villains range and i have a marginal hand (tptk/tpgk/mptk/2pair on bad board facing a shove etc...) i just have to call to confirm to myself that i am actually beat.

graph coming soon.

I looked up 'gsad' and it means 'go suck a dick'.

How is that possibly warranted? Consider yourself on ignore.

word, I am creating a epassporte accnt now to hopefully help move money around in a faster and safer manner . I am on a sick rush and am about 12k from meeting my goal of having 100k online for the first time. After practically cashing out my bankroll a few months ago, I have no reason to cash out anymore. grind grind grind.

hey, [censored], it's nielsio's god-given right to run uber-hot for a few days every couple months and post PT screenshots for 10-15k stretches and not post again until another one occurs several months later.

so until you can ALSO run super hot, please let the man bask in his variance-induced upswing
