Yang praying reminds me of the year that Michael Chang won the French Open (that's tennis, you donks), and publicly thanked Jesus for his victory. I happened to sit next to Mats Wilander on a plane some time after. His take: "#1, do you really think Jesus is watching a tennis match? #2, if he is, do you really think he's rooting for you? And #3, if he was, don't you think he'd give you a better serve?"

It was smooth for me until the last half hour. Can't tell if it's my work's T1 line or the espn server.

A lot of people believe in God and a lot of people believe in Jesus. In the bible it says to give glory to the Lord, and this is probably the biggest stage of Jerry Yang's life...I betcha God isn't upset to be hearing His name praised on such an idolistic stage.

Truth is, as a Christian, it did make me feel a tad uncomfortable, however as a Christian I also see it as the "right" thing to do according to our Holy book the Bible. Maybe if he did so in less of an extreme way, but that sounds wrong to ask too.
