I dont think ABC can be profitable at 2/4. The game is alot laggier there.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah, so? I mean if worst comes to worst you could just shortstack and shove any big pairs or good flops, which come to think of it I think a lot of ppl do.

lolol, you guys are silly. Stinger, BLD and CTS would rape 2/4 "regs" with ease.

[/ QUOTE ]

Shorthand absolutly, but at a FR table the advantage is minimal

[/ QUOTE ]

That's my point as well.

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't think these players win @ 5000NL FR for a fair clip?

I don't see the relevance to the point being discussed.

this would be no different from any of you 2/4 and 3/6 players moving down to nl50.

a reg playing at 2/4 or higher wont get raped or beat with ease by anyone. to be playing that level and higher they are one fundamental sound, have moves now and then, know when to fold, etc, etc. now will a higher reg like stinger or any like that be a favorite, most likely of course, but i agree with qtip, it wont be with ease.

[/ QUOTE ]

maybe if the 2/4 regs kept their stacks short like no bigger than 150bb, but especially if they got deep the edge the Highstakes guys have would be magnified

ps cts has played 2/4 and 3/6 and he destroyed the games(before he had his monster run at nosebleed, like Jan/Feb maybe)

i agree with renton. his posts/value is way greater than any discussion of nl25 and nl50 regs. as such, why don't we just split the thread and move on.

If people find value in the discussion then it's valuable...no matter who they are. Nobody's opinion is any more valuable than anybody else's. That's what makes the forum good. I think people need to keep things in context. I think sometimes people tend to get a little arrogant because they play a certain level of online poker when in actuality people who play much lower have significantly higher net worth and actually scoff at how seriously people take themselves.

Nah, I don't see why but it's been a long night so that could be it. My only point is a thread about Poker Stars Regs should be open to anyone who wants to discuss Poker Stars regs, regardless of buy-in. It has nothing to do with anyone's strategy posts, etc. If the discussion is only open to certain buy-ins then just specify it in the title and everyone will follow.
