I'm getting a Microsoft .Net error. It says "Could not find a part of the path" and it has a file location. I think I'm not extracting the file to the right place?

It seems to be a config file it can't find not sure what to do..

Hi,

Make sure you extract the files into your program files\rvg software\holdem manager folder overwriting the ones that are there. You can then run HM from your start menu or double click the holdemmanager.exe that is in your /holdem manager folder.

Unfortunately, the same problem with the additional .dll files in the HM folder. And I'm using 32-bit Vista.

Carl.

Thanks to some help from Josem I found the issue. New version doesn't like the use of "localhost" on Vista. Change localhost to 127.0.0.1 and it should work ok for you.

I'll release an update that automatically switches this.

I think it has more to do with the npgsql interface to postgres. Version 1.0 resolves localhost on Vista but version 1.97 does not... pretty weird I know.

Cool thanks

Also, can you make adding the ability to run reports on multiple people at the same time at the top of your to do list for the next upgrade

This is already in the next update Probably be a couple of days before I release it though because I still have a bunch of other things I want to get into the next one.

For some reason it never imports more than 1001 hands from a file and most files are importing exactly 1001 hands. I think this has been happening for a while (definitely before the update) but I only really recognized it as a problem now.

That solved the Vista problem. Strange that localhost wasn't resolving correctly. I do like the improved speed with this one, but haven't yet played around with other features.

Cheers, Carl.

Hey, are you sure the files you are importing from aren't 1000 hands and less? I just tried importing an 8MB hand history file and it imported 6989 hands from the one file...

New suggestion

Show all the big pots (We can set it to say 100BB) with a X or something where we got all in as a underdog or where equity was lower than pit odds

That'd be sweet
