But wouldn't you say that tricking kids into loving jesus by playing them catchy songs and giving them candy and stuff is not the correct approach? |

[/ QUOTE ] Young are also taught by television to be overly materialistic, and are also shown violent, sexual and criminal images and lifestyles pretty young also. I hardly think parents teaching their kids about religion is anywhere near as bad. My parents are pretty devout Christians, and we all went to something similar for years while I was a kid. When I was 14 I decided it was total bs. I have recently changed my mind and become a Christian again, but my point is kids can make up their own minds, this is not terrible brainwashing. |
