Meh, maybe I do and maybe I don't. But don't dismiss out of hand this stuff. You can't tell me that you can't tell the difference of some kid who looks like a deer caught in headlights and this kid. I felt the same way about Pedroia early this Spring when he was hitting a buck fifty.

Just like in Poker, stats are important but you got to be able to read people and situations.

Come on, Toro; you know I don't rely solely on stats. I post a ton of stuff from Hardball Times and Carlos Gomez's site to get the scouting angle. The most notable post in this vein was Beckett's mechanics changes.
