blue, you're underrating the collapse risk of those TE's and underrating gates's baseline.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think Gates will have a great year and I don't expect Crumpler to come close to last year's performance with Vick gone. However, Gates shouldn't even be considered in the 2nd round in that format. He is way overvalued in the typical leagues and usually slightly undervalued in PPR leagues.

Davey- McAllister and J.Jones went MUCH later in my draft... I rather have taken a true #1 RB on a team or someone with higher upside, since you already have LDT consistently putting up great numbers. I like Kitna a lot, I wasn't thrilled when he was taken earlier than I expected. DeAngelo Williams is a nice pick as is Eli in the last round.

#1 pick is so rigged

[/ QUOTE ]

#1 pick is hard. Duece was the 23rd RB taken so I really didnt want to let it get any worse. After him were Marion Barber, Jerious Norwood and Adrian Peterson. Then I took Julius Jones. Brandon Jackson, Tatum Bell and Fred Taylor were taken shortly after.

Alright here is my draft from today. I would LOVE some feedback. This is the league that I told everyone about a few days ago when I asked for help w/ a draft strategy--it's a strange league b/c we start 2 QBs and it's a PPR league. We also play 2 RBs, 3 WRs, a flex(RB/WR), a TE, K, D. 10 teams. I was hoping to get Reggie Bush/Carson Palmer at #9/#12 but someone took Carson Palmer/Drew Brees at #10/#11 after Joseph Addai went #3 and Peyton Manning went #5. I'll post the entire draft if there is interest.

1.9 Reggie Bush
2.12 Rudi Johnson (He is Mr. Consistent so I thought this was pretty good value...next few picks were Tom Brady, Laurence Maroney and Steve Smith...Shaun Alexander didn't go until 19th...should I have taken him?)
3.29 Larry Fitzgerald
4.32 Javon Walker
5.49 Lee Evans
6.52 Matt Leinart (heavy rush on QBs after Palmer/Brees went, not much I could do here since we start 2 of them and I hadn't taken one here...next QBs taken were Jay Cutler and Matt Schaub)
7.69 Vincent Jackson
8.72 Alex Smith (didn't like this at all, and I think I really screwed up by taking him over J.P. Losman...Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisberger and Jake Delhomme were also available)
9.89 Jamal Lewis (I thought this was really good value...I took him over Jerious Norwood and Ladell Betts and Fred Taylor)
10.92 Santonio Holmes (another good value pick)
11.109 Jerry Porter
12.112 Jason Campbell (homer pick, plus I needed a 3rd QB)
13.129 Alge Crumpler (I thought this was an absolute steal since he is pretty much Joey ERRington's only option)
14.132 Rueben Droughns (pretty bad 4th RB I think)
15.149 Mike Furrey
16.152 Neil Rackers
17.169 Jaguars D

So my team is:

QB-Matt Leinart
QB-Alex Smith
QB-Jason Campbell

RB-Reggie Bush
RB-Rudi Johnson
RB-Jamal Lewis
RB-Rueben Droughns

WR-Larry Fitzgerald
WR-Javon Walker
WR-Lee Evans
WR-Vincent Jackson
WR-Santonio Holmes
WR-Jerry Porter
WR-Mike Furrey

TE-Alge Crumpler
K-Neil Rackers
D-Jaguars

I'm not too high on Ronnie Brown or Maurice Jones-Drew. The fact that you got J.P. Losman in the 15th makes me think that you took Eli Manning too early. I think Roy Williams and Javon Walker were pretty good picks.

Awesome draft Durden... I'd be shocked if you aren't the favorite to win the league.

12 person league. 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Def, 1K

Standard Scoring (non-PPR, passing touchdowns worth 4 points)

10)Laurence Maroney
15)Rudi Johnson
34)TJ Houshmanzadeh
39)Anquan Boldin
58)Jay Cutler
63)Brandon Jackson
82)Calvin Johnson
87)DeAngelo Williams
106)LJ Smith
111)Tony Romo
130)Michael Turner
135)Brandon Jones
154)Vernand Morency
159)Demetrius Williams
178)Carolina D
183)Jason Hanson

There were a few things I obviously didn't like, but overall I'm happy with my team. I know Cutler was really high, but the top-10 QB's were already taken. If I hadn't picked Boldin, I would have just waited on whichever fell between Cutler and Leinart, but I don't like to use a QB/WR combo from the same team. I also picked Romo high, but my strategy going in was to draft a good backup QB if I didn't get one of the top 6.

Brandon Jackson was also high, but he was the only starting RB left aside from Dunn, LenDale, and Foster.

Thanks! I thought it was awesome too, but I have a very biased opinion....I realize that my QBs kinda suck but I think I was able to make up for it in other areas.

Reggie Bush is a STEAL there in a ppr league imo. Rudi is a solid pick there as well. I saw a bulletin saying that he wanted to be more involved in the passing game, so that's another positive for you. Agree that Smith was a bad pick. I'd rather take Favre there.
