Re: **Official** uNL Microbrew Thread - October
Anyone seen sixxxpac on 50NL Stars? This guy is a nitty 13/11/3 who ALWAYS buys in with $10. I have about 800 hands on him. Surely this short-stack strategy can't be too profitable?

Re: **Official** uNL Microbrew Thread - October
253 hands on him. Up $25.
Don't knock shortstacking, I ran at a good 10PTBB/100 shortstacking for like 3 days once back in the day. 8-10 tabling. 4th day was losing day, but it was on different site. It's swingy, but if you are good @ it, I'd say you can make a nice profit doing it at 50NL. |

i purposely haven't checked my pm's yet and will do so later tonight. I will probably do it on a first come first serve basis but may take on an extra 1-2 students if there are any standouts [/ QUOTE ] Congrats, you have a PM - Get back to me if you agree |

I can't imagine ever seeing a turn before I'm all-in with $10 at a 50NL table. If you're a solid player, seems like you're giving up a lot of EV by purposely playing short-stacked. |

Re: **Official** uNL Microbrew Thread - October
coach me i hav potential
[ QUOTE ] hello hello, I am looking at getting into coaching and would like to give a FREE 90 minute session to 2 students (1 on 1 sessions so 3 hours overall for me). The sessions will like consist of a 45 minute sweat, a review afterwards and finally we can discuss any concepts you would like to talk about. Little history about me... I started playing 25NL at the end of May and am currently at 400NL with a view to being at NL1000 by christmas. I recently went pro and consider myself a very driven player and would like to help a couple of uNLers with their game. All i ask is that you review my performance in the uNL/SSNL coaching thread when we are done and i want you to be completely honest (i won't hunt you down ) Here's my progress since the micros PM me if interested P.S positive people only please [/ QUOTE ] |

[/ QUOTE ] PokerEV has no real use.... the only thing its good for is looking at graphs when you run bad to make yourself feel better about loosing!!!! As far as poker analysis goes.... 1) No one really cares if you run good or bad 2) Over a large sample, everyone has the same number of beats 3) If you need pokerEV to tell you if you are running good or bad then you should spend more time on 2p2 learning about poker! |

christ does ev1 have a gf? where can i buy one? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, everyone does. Its a nice stress-relief some of the time. The other times... not so much. Also, if the rake at Windsor is like that, I'm playing 2/5 or something 'worth it'. |
