Not me, what I was wondering though, my PT database has around 100k hands now, and I just ordered my new pc:

a e6750 core 2 duo with 2 gig.

But how big can it get, before things start to crash on me? Having stats backed by 1k+ hands on people is always nice, but how long will it last?

PostgreSQL. Change to it. My database is huge, takes a minute to open and switch tabs if not filtered but it is fine. If I had it to do over again I would separate it out by sites. I have 1.5 million hands and only 1gb of PC3200 ram.

i'm pretty clueless, so what does this mean and how do I do it :P

I quite like the check behind - there are a ton of hands that could have you crushed just waiting to c/r the river - but I think it is quite close.

the SPADE completes a backdoor flush, he could have a straight as well.

are you on the pokertracker forum? go there and find the section directed towards postgresql. there are some tutorials about setting up and converting your databases.

you may have a little bit of trouble setting it up, but if you stick with it and make it happen, you'll be happy with the decision.

I still use Access PT DB's. I could never get PostregSQL to work properly.

I use Realtime HUD for datamining of observed hands. PT only imports the hands I actually play. My HUD obviously has the stats from both datamined, and my PT DB. This keeps my PT Acccess DB smaller.

I know many people that use PA HUD - will have multiple PT DB's. One DB For datamined hands, and one DB for the hands they play. Their PAHUD can read from both PT DB's to accumulate stats for the HUD.
