I'm going to be in the Tower, which is just a standard hotel. The Lodge is the nice one, but [censored] that, I'm not paying a [censored] load so I can have a fridge full of $20 jellybeans.

Well, it finally happened. I did the "you will run worse than you ever thought imaginable" thing. I've heard it and understood it in theory, but... not really.

In the last 24 hours, I dropped ten buyins at 3/6, and five at 2/4. You won't believe me when I say it, but it really was 90% bad luck and not bad play, at least for the first ~10 hours. The next ~6 hours though, I was sleep deprived and tilted, and donked off a few grand when I really should have left the tables. I've never been so far past the misery threshold before. I was sitting at the computer telling myself "you need to stand up", but couldn't stop chasing the losses. Sick.

PS: No one wants to hear all the beats, but my kings ran into aces four times, 12 sets cracked - of the ones that saw showdown, nevermind the ones I folded to 4 flush or 4 straight boards. (99 on 952hh board, Kh3h 4bet shoves 180bb was particularly memorable.) I kept getting all in good on the turn and crying on the river, and it just wouldn't stop.

PSS: I'm not trying the postflop CR AK-high all-in move anymore. I lose a stack every single time I try it. [censored] that [censored].
