Let me put a list of players into the reports tab or into the players tab. [/ QUOTE ] In the players tab look at the second report - it allows you to select any number of specific players to run the player summary report against. rvg |

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager
I don't know if this has been brought up. The option to have several databases and also to merge databases would be nice.

[/ QUOTE ] This will happen but it isn't high on the priority list at the moment. [ QUOTE ] "The following error occured when trying to open the Holdem Manager database: unable to read from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host." [/ QUOTE ] Make sure Postgres is running as a service and then make sure you have the port / user name / password entered correctly. [ QUOTE ] This is what I get while trying to install PostgreSQL: "This installation package could not be opened.Verify the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer." [/ QUOTE ] Sounds like a corrupt download of postgres - try downloading again. Overall update, The last 2 and a half weeks I attempted to replace postgres with two different database engines that did not require any installation / management / configuration but I've decided to stick with postgres. The first replacement candidate, SQLite, did pretty well up until about a million hands where it started to fall apart compared to Postgres in performance. The second candidate did perform a little better although not enough to justify the extra difficulty it would have caused 3rd party developers. I will provide SQLite support at some point for people that don't want to install (or can't install) Postgres but for now I'm sticking with Postgres. A new update will be coming this week. I have added Absolute and Crypto support and will probably add another site from the poll before I release the update. I have also apx doubled the import speed and will probably add a little more before I release this one. Edit: Ultimate Bet, Bodog and OnGame are the next 3 in the poll. If you have hands to contribute from one of these sites then please send them to tourneymgr@gmail.com. I do already have hands for all 3 but the more I have to work with the fewer import errors you'll have. Roy |

I'm getting the same message as above. My server name is localhost, my port number is 5432, my login name is postgres. the password is incoreect, but after I change it I get this error: "Connection Error: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host." I have never had any issues of any kind until the last patch. |

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager
Is there a way to backup the database like on pokertracker if I wanted to move it to another computer?

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager
Would a donation speed up the HUD development? I would like this badly.
