Are you sure there are no taxes on your winnings in Canada? Because I've read that Canada taxes "professional" gamblers, defined as those who derive more than 50% of their income from gambling.

I've talked to multiple accountants who have all said its not taxable given my situation. Whether gambling profits are taxable in Canada is based on 4 criteria which I can't remember but can probably be found easily online.

What are the best strat/psych threads/posts on 2+2 and other internets that you keep as bookmarks or in your collection or whatever for rereading once in a while?

"I am robot professional player", "quit complaining when you lose with your pocket pairs", and "you could have bought a lot of porn with that" are 3 of them(I probably got all the names wrong), I don't really reread strategy posts enough.

are you gonna just transfer all the money u have in ur poker accounts to the new ones? basically how are you going about setting up the new accounts

I haven't really given it any thought, and incase UCLA or someone reads this, I should probably keep away from the topic of a new name.

triscuits or wheat thins?

Wheat thins

What's the reasoning behind creating new accounts when you turn 18? It's possible to just change your date of birth right?

Boom switch 1 time

what do you think it is about you and your upbringing that you think has allowed you to handle all this wealth so maturely?

I think its a variety of things, but I think since my parents are both good at saving money, thats been passed onto me, I also think that from the start, I had a never redeposit sort of mentality, so I think thats kind of stuck.

Obviously you have a pretty amazing bussiness sense. Did poker give you an outlet to excercise some pre-existing business skills, or did your skills develop as a result of needing to manage your money?

Thats tough to say, I have always tried to be observant and open-minded(cue staking PMs) about new things to see what does and doesn't work. I think poker has definitely helped that, since so much of poker is about weighing various factors, to come to a decision.

What is it about my game that you respect so much?

It seems like you are very good at deducing what sorts of hands opponents may have and narrowing in not only on their hand, but how they plan on playing the hand. You also seem to be very good at making your lines believeable and you seem to find lots of spots that others might miss in multiway pots.

howd you come out for WSOP?
We suck at record keeping but like -150k between the 2 of us

Any players you decided not to stake who then had a huge score soon after?

Jurollo must have asked for staking a dozen times, but I just simply don't think hes +EV.

It seems pretty common for extremely young and succesfull poker players to generate a lot of animosity and jealousy on poker forums. In your case, everyone seemingly holds you in very high regard. Besides being a very nice guy, what do you think sets you apart from your peers in terms of the respect most people on the internet have for you?

By being nicer to me, they assume it makes me more likely to stake them obv

fear. he's a jujitsu master.

Many of my answers berating various posters may be loosely, or even not at all based on fact.

What limits did you start at? When you started playing tournaments you didn't just jump into the big buy ins did you?

Have you ever gone busto? If so, what made you stick with it?

how did you find time to play this many tournaments during school, or any poker for that matter? i have found it remarkably difficult managing to play cash and balance school work? i have always assumed it was damn near impossible for me to put in the volume required to put in a decent volume for cash but somehow you seem to have managed it in tournaments which seem like they'd be harder to put in a good volume

P.S. pink floyd is my favorite band of all time, RATM is up there, and decemberists are good too

P.P.S. if you are math major take a number theory class, my HS offers it and the class is really cool
