im in about the same position as OP concerning br and being in hs. HS girls from my experience actually don't care that much about money, at least at a private school since most get as much money as they want from parents so they don't see money as a huge thing. OP just stop trying so hard, at least with just generally having friends people don't want ot be friends with the guy that spends all their time trying to impress them. everyone growing knows the kid who will let you anyone borrow anything, do any favor, just so they will hang out with them, don't be that kid.

yes everything is in their name but we have a joint bank account that i can wire all of my money to and cashout myself. lately they've been very cooperative in letting me play and cashout, etc

also my mother is constantly telling me to move out and get my own apartment and when i told her i will she said good or something along those lines.

i think the roommate idea is a great one because it solves the problem of getting an apartment when 17 as well as easing financial stress (if we get a $1400 place I'll pay only 700, if I do pay 1k the place will be totally balla)

But the most important thing is that I won't be living alone which is creepy and may make the apartment do more harm than good as far as girls go (taking them home, etc).

I think I need some more convincing to do this so if anyone thinks its good please speak up.

- i am so uncomfortable even talking to people on the phone in front of my parents. i feel like they are spying on me and invading my personal space.

believe it or not i used to be somewhat popular in middle school (you can spit some sick game successfully on aim if you are to bitchy IRL even if you have no game whatsoever.) and when a girl would call for me she would keep her on the phone for like 20 minutes chatting about me. they always said she was nice but still its wayyy out of line

-took license plates off of my car and tells me she will keep them for another day/week (changes constantly) if i "disrespect" her (treats me like a child rather than an adult)

-my room is cramped and stuffy and unballer and its the only place i can use my computer in privacy
