Agree with both of you. I think the only way FSU scores 35+ is if the defense/speacial teams sets the offense up w/ multiple short fields and/or scores themselves.

Did you see UAB play? Of course FSU's D will set them up nicely. It was 42-0 in the mid of the 2nd Q.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah you're probably right. Since Michigan St put up 55 on UAB FSU obviously will too. Thanks for clearing that up.

Did you see UAB play? A simple question, that's all.

I didn't say FSU would score 55, did you read what I wrote? Making up stupid strawman that nobody said is incredibly lame and annoying.

If you think Vegas is giving away the FREE MONIEZ!11! than that's fine, but obviously there are many people who think 42-10, or more, is a score that can easily happen.

The line is ~35, so FSU has to score at least that much to begin with. Do you think the line is totally off?

FYI-
FSU beat UAB 34-7 in 2004 with 26 first downs, 251 rushing yards on 47 carries and 238 passing yards. UAB had -24 yards rushing and was 10 of 22 for 168 yards. the turnover battle was even. FSU looked crappy that year on offense, especially in the first week, as well.

Last year, crappy FSU did beat Rice 55-7 and Duke 51-24.

I think I will get a little MTSU against Louisville...it has moved against MyTurn.

44-16 last year if memory serves, and MTSU is not Murray (1-10 in I-AA last year).

41 points is a lot if you're not playing Temple or Buffalo or North Texas.

It seems Oregon st. is a trendy pick on these boards, but I'd watch out for that game Brandon Lang likes Cincy. I like the M's Missouri, Memphis and Miss. St. any reason these teams don't all win by at least 7.

Sylvester Croom and Michael Henig come to mind.

Not saying I have the testicular fortitude to put real American money on Tulane, but...

Your post implied that since UAB got killed last week then they'd get dominated by FSU this week by a similar score. Otherwise why post that it was 42-0 in the 2nd quarter? How and why those points were scored is much more relevant than just posting a number. I also love how you accuse me of making up things you didn't say then turn around and act like I said this game was "FREE MONIEZ!11!". And I love how since the line is 35 so FSU has to score at least that much. Obviously someone forgot to tell that to Virginia Tech and company last week.

Really like LOU here.
Last year MTSU played a bit above themselves and was super-juiced at home.
This year it's at LOU.
Really feel that last year it was more a matter of LOU heading to a boring non-conference opponent in the MIDDLE of the season when they had bigger matchups to look forward to and they came out flat in the 1st half.

MTSU lost to Oklahoma and South Carolina by 50+ each last year which was their truer form imo.

I think MTSU gets hurt more by the shorter week.
They are also coming off a lousy loss to Fla Atl so it's questionable whether they are even as good as they were last year.
