some people are just smart, einstein learned most of what he knew about physics on his own. there are people who simply have the capacity for certain abilities inherently. most of these people go through school and do well but have a focus, but there are some like LH who dont do well in school/authoritarian environment and just work on their own. they are still smart but never received the education formally and most received it autodidactically(sp?). george carlin for example said he never really did well in school but still has a remarkable talent for language and is obviously very intelligent

Hey idiot, the hand I posted determined whether he CASHED in a WSOP tourney he won. One hand that gave him most of his recognition, because he is stupid and lucky as hell.

I thought he sounded pretty intelligent in terms of his overall understanding of poker. he didn't speak like a grad student in english literature, but wtf do u expect?
