I think one of the biggest leaks in my game is repeatedly falling into the trap of FPS. I KNOW for a fact that this loses me money, but I still don't seem to be able to prevent myself from doing it.

Have you got any advice that might help me tighten up on this aspect of my play?

This is my well, so I will not be politically correct here. You sir sound like a douche, you need to get your ego comfirment ... you want to be smarter and tougher than the others, you want to pwn them

Waiting for cards does not satisfy you cravin for street respect, so you have to force the action ... like look at me, I'm so sexy ! ... but you're not.

That is my guess ... (See also my illustrated comment to Genz on tilting ... btw, no offence meant! )

I think the only reason to listen to music while playing is to keep you focused after being 2+ hours deep into a session, otherwise its normally distracting

Gelford do you check-raise alot of turns with air as the PF-agressor? If so what type of flop textures/opponents do you look for. I'm looking for tools to use against habitual floaters. Thanks.

It is all a question of how you balance your game, I like to be the aggressor and so while the stack-a-donk can be a powerfull tool, I don't use it much, I am more a bet, bet, bet and then bet kinda guy.

So they way that my game is balanced, if I feel that I am getting floated, I start double and if need be triple barreling.

You can go the c/r way, stack-a-donking and stack-a-bluffing, it is all preference ... balance is the key word, protecting yourself by having a proper bluffing frequency (TOP chapters 18 and 19 and/or MOP chapter 9 (or there abouts) )
