I am over 30 and could seriously not give a [censored] what is in fashion. Remember, the 20-somethings who are dictating fashion now are the same douchebags who started wearing jeans 10x too big and belted around their rectums a few years ago.

[/ QUOTE ]

Heheh well said. Small change: "think they are dictating fashion."

Decent looking but thin. How long do you think they're gonna hold up. They look like you could go through them in a month or so.

I would never wear "formal" flip flops for lack of a better terminology, like the ones linked in the OP. Flip flops are flip flops, they are meant to be cheap and comfortable not fashionable and trendy. I think dress sandals and flip flops are kinda fruity, but once spring hits normal flip flops are really all I wear.

edit: but I'm 22, don't live that close to a beach and I don't go out to bars/clubs/fancy places a lot so what do I know

Rainbows are the answer.

Look good, last forever, comfy as anything you'll ever wear on your feet.

Front part of flip flops usually wears away very quick, and these seem pretty thin to me. Look comfy though.

I live in Florida, I wasn't aware anything but flip flops/sandals existed. Pretty much everyone here (especially college towns) wears flip-flops with shorts, and some sort of boat shoe (Sperry's) with jeans. Reef's are pimp.

I know 90% of OOT is 'internet ballers who never went to college but are making 200k plus' but 95% of guys AND girls on all college campuses wear flip flops all the time.

Ha, fantastic.
There must've been 20,000 pairs of flip-flops @Yankee stadium last weekend.

Everyone who keeps quoting the number of people who wear them casually is missing the point.

The fact that alot of people do it doesn't make it any less lame. It just makes it common
