No it was driver, 2 iron. Hit his driver 334, then hit his 2 iron about 275. it was an amazing 2nd shot and then burns the edge for eagle.

Funny you bring that up. Tiger and Bubba are frequent practice round partners and Watson addressed that yesterday in his post-round news conference with the media:

Q. Tiger has marvelled in the past about how far you hit the ball. When you play those practice rounds with him, how far do you blast it past him and what's his reaction?
BUBBA WATSON: I blast by him every time. [Laughter] He always talks about his wins and I always talk about how far I hit it. [Laughter]. The man wants to hit it past everybody. Doesn't matter -- you can practice and win tournaments, but you can't practice it and hit it farther. That's what I always tell him, but he doesn't listen very much.

edit: and it's always so lol to read the early posts in threads like these where ppl are like "Tiger is 5 back of a bunch of unproven no-namers after 2 rounds, no way he has a chance! he'll need to double eagle at least 3 holes in the 3rd round to get himself back into contention."

If Tiger pars out this might be one of the most disappointing 68's. Damn Tiger should be like 4 under at least.
