These are my favorites while blazed too. I love the Getty in LA b/c it has a great view of the city at night and it has ancient Greek and Roman statues that are impressive and inspiring. They got a fat like 20+ foot marble statue of Marcus Aurelius that is in pretty decent condition.

MOCA is nice for trippier, more abstract mixed-media and installation pieces, but it suffers from being smack dab in downtown LA (which is no place for someone who is high).

LACMA has a lot of ancient African and South American artifacts but most of its American stuff is not very impressive, though they did have a pretty cool Ansel Adams and Dorothy Lange exhibit a while back.

For nature, I like taking the 1 (PCH) to Malibu and blazing a j with some friends on the cliffs overlooking the ocean at Point Magu on a summer day or in El Toro Canyon in Laguna Beach which has nice hiking and ocean views.

Also, in Pasadena, there is the Huntington Museum and Gardens which houses an impressive collection of manuscripts from Whitman and Emerson and they have original copies of Audibon's bird paintings.

There’s a 19th century engraving that depicts Chinese railroad workers in Frisco smoking opium on their break.

If you go on a weekday (and keep a relatively small party) there are many places you can go to sneak a little hit or dust a little j. I've sat under the canopy of a big willow tree they have there in their rose garden. You're completely shrouded and their is a bench for your leisure. I've shared j's there with NO hassle. You’re in the hills of Pasadena and there is plenty of great views.

They also have an exquisite Japanese Zen garden which is perfect for budheads.
