Munkey... ya the lag drives me crazy... so many times it has disconnected too and always when I'm in the middle of a big pot... other than that what do you mean by changes?? in players? if so I haven't noticed much diff since the upgrade...

Re: **Official uNL microbrew thread:April**
IMHO datamining on FTP has really helped me. I played on Stars for a couple of months before I got bonus/rakeback going on FTP, and initially struggled with the more aggressive FTP game (as I'd noticed anyway). Once I got numbers, I started to feel a little more confident, and realized that the games were actually a bit tighter than I had first thought.
I also think timing, as in when you play, is more important on FTP - some of the ways I was getting paid off this weekend were criminal. |

QQ isn't gonna be good there very often imo. [/ QUOTE ] The fact that he cold-called and then 4-bet me kinda threw me off. I had been raising and reraising a lot preflop so I figured if he didn't have enough to reraise the first time, but then he had enough to 4-bet a retard like me.. he had to have somewhere like JJ-88, or maybe AK-AQ. |

Re: **Official uNL microbrew thread:April**
Dell = 2560x1600 will give u 9 tables with a little overlap.. resizing them just a bit would make them all fit without being too small
Westy = 1920x1080.. it's a tv, it's prolly cheaper than the dell though.. I haven't looked at it's price. If you don't need the extra resolution. 1920x1080 just isn't enough for me personally.. but if you're using it for things other than just poker bigger is better. |

Ya I misread the action on that the first time I looked at it Thac.. when someone cold calls.. then puts in a big raise no matter how stupidly he would have had to have played it for him to have AA there. .he usually still has it LOL

Re: **Official uNL microbrew thread:April**
There are a bunch of games to choose from and a few bad regulars to exploit if you HAVE to play with the regulars. The lack of a good rakeback system at nl50 (VPPs come realllllly slow) is not fun but the money is there.
And a response I typed to the thread about the guy wanting to play 30/20 at nl10, I took a while to write it out and figured he would see it eventually if he looked here, so: "Stop trying to play a certain 'stat'. Clearly you're a 14/11 semi-nit, but look how well it's working for you in the short-term. The only way to beat microstakes is by good, TAG play. I can guarantee you that your postflop play is not good enough to play 30/20 against some of the minds at nl10. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."" |
