[/ QUOTE ] It is possible that she has both mental issues and a super power, but only one of the personalities (Jessica) have mastered the power (super strength). This came to mind when Jessica said "I thought she had learned to defend herself, but...".

[/ QUOTE ] it's probably just a normal reaction, because in her past she did feel pain when things like that happened. sometimes if someone hits you, you almost say 'ouch' before it happens, or even after it happens, even if it doesn't hurt at all. it's just a natural reaction.

Anyone else think that Mr Bennett is not really a good guy. Sure he does whatever is needed to protect his daughter, but I am sure he has other motives. He knows about people with special abilities before meeting Suresh as is evidenced in the last episode.

I don't know if anyone has asked/answered this yet, but are there any theories on why Clare's mom said Clare had a cough as a baby? What would that have to do with healing herself?

[/ QUOTE ] Maybe Claire had a caugh as a baby. Is there anything to suggest Claire's mom knows that Claire is special? She would not have told Claire that the biological parents were nowhere to be found when she was a baby if she knew the story, so that conversation between mom and daughter could be in there to show us that mom is not aware of what is going on.
