If you are going to stay on the internet playing poker the rest of your poker life and not ever attend a tournament live, hang around at wsop when your old enough etc, then fine, your decision won't concern you (except for moral problems perhaps).

On the other hand, if you plan to ever actually get to know some poker people (and most gamblers actually do kind of "live" this life in one way or another which means like actually PHYSICALLY interacting with people, attending some tournies etc), then I suggest you [censored] send the guy 5k or something; you cannot even imagine how frozen out you will feel if you ever attend some kind of "poker get-together" and have this [censored] behind you.

[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed. He should probably just send him 2k or something though. Since its hard to imagine his equity was 0%.

not to hijack the thread but i had a much worse angle shoot pulled on me.
commerce 20-40NL, me and another player agree to go allin blind for 10K, before we do we ask the entire table if everyone is ok with this.
everyone agrees to fold their cards and we tell the blinds we will give them their money back.

so i put my money in the pot first cuz i'm in early position, everyone folds around to the cutoff who is not the person i agreed to the deal with, he looks at his cards and calls me.
the player i agreed to go allin with folds and i'm up against AA.

biggest angle shoot i've ever seen in my life.

if anyone ever plays at the commerce the guy that did it is named ruppee and is a young indian dude.
total douchebag.

Am I the only one who doesn't feel some sort of empathy for you?

if grim had AA hed call. pd.

the fact that the above is true is really lame and wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe. Moral of it all: don't angle shoot. If you choose to involve yourself in this type of activity, be prepared for a myriad of [censored] situations and people you will face. Otherwise, quit crying. There have probably been countless times where other players on this forum have did the same thing or thought the same thing, yet it's not public knowledge. Trust no man.

you can hate me now

Grim, I'm gonna put it to you as clear as I can: When you say you're gonna do something, DO IT ! Your word is your bond and there places in this world where if you don't keep it, you could lose your life. With that being said, I personally wouldn't even agree to involve myself in such an activity with my money, then cry about somebody not keeping their word. It's no longer poker at this point; it's high stakes gambling and all kinda [censored] happens when you get to gambling. I expect this kinda [censored] from the get go so another gambler holding his WORD holds no importance or weight. This thread should be a clear example to you that there is no love and friends in this game. Do your thing, get better, get your money and keep stepping. Rely only on yourself and don't involve yourself in situations that will have your word questioned over some foolishness. There are alot more important and challenging situations that you will face that will involve your word than a def-dumb-n-blind 5K angle shoot online with some unknown who'll probably never make a meaning difference in your life.

Does anyone else suspect that wasnt actually grim talkin on his 2p2 acct in this thread? All his answers were super short and about as anger inducing as possible. Just seems kinda suspicious.

Would you rather his answers be super long and as anger inducing as possible? What more did you expect him to say?
