2p2 has sat on its hands while a fight goes on that is vital to its business interests. At the least this is really poor judgement in what is best for their business.

TV on poker exsists in the manner it does today largely due to internet poker. The poker boom IS entirely because of the internet. If Chris Moneymaker never qualifys for the ME and wins it, I guarntee you that hole card cams matter very little and there are still 10 year old copys of small stakes hold em sitting on the shelves.

In the end, we may succeed without the direct help of 2p2, but it definetly was not because of them. Its just a bit sad.

I for one will cease frequenting here when this is over.....win or lose. There are many forums to choose from and I refuse to support some organization that hid behind their lawyers instead of standing up and fighting for something that they supposedly love. Their inaction reeks of an organization that has gone into a mode of milking the cash cow rather than trying to stand up and reinvigorate the product line. This is defeatist at best and not worthy of any future revenue from my pocket should we succeed in this struggle. I am here solely because of the great info being put forth by the MEMBERS. As soon as we emerge from the other side I will let my statistical add revenue line the pockets of someone who cares.

Just curious when this statement was going to be finished? I dont want to bump a semi old thread, but I really was interested in reading the statement that was coming soon. Im taking a government class this semester so all this legislation and legal stuff has been interesting to me.

The way things are going, the statement will probably read as follows when it is finally ready sometime next year:

"We at Two Plus Two Publishing regret that the United States government has outlawed online poker, but we hope that people will continue to buy our books, because you never know when you might be able to go to a casino."
