if arsenal lose henry i think this is doable but there is no way spurs are going to be better than liverpool, utd or chelsea next season

Last season, whenever the top teams were missing their best defenders they struggled.... Dawson & King when both fit, are top class... The season before - there wasn't and probably still isn't a team that King didn't get into in the Prem and dawson is not that far behind him....

UTD missed Ferdinand
Chelsea missed Terry
Arsenal missed Gallas
Liverpool didn't have any IIRC

Spurs - who finished 5th was missing their best player for 90% of the season...

The season before we finished 5th and let in far less goals...and we were concentrating on just the league...

If we can get a very good LMidfielder, ideally Morten Gamst pedersen from Blackburn.... and maybe another decent defender as cover, without selling our better players (Berba/Chimbonda/Defoe/Dawson/King)..... I'll take bets on us finishing in the top 4 !

I think ManU could be a sleeper team to slip up. Arsernal w/o Henry would be [censored].

Milan sounds like theyre rabid over getting Henry. I think Arsenal needs to start looking for more young strikers since the rest of their team is so young. I honestly think that getting rid of Henry is the right move.

I haven't been keeping up on rumors so I'll take your word for it that it's been thrown out there, but I don't know what I think about Henry to Milan. I think I'd rather have them target a younger, less developed played but I wouldn't be upset with him at all.

Kaka and Henry would be ridiculous though.

As long as they get younger in midfield and get rid of the dinosaurs on defense, I'd be happy with Danny effing Mills in Milan. Henry is a small step down, but I'll settle. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I agree.

I don't see where Man United could slip out of the top four when they seem content to sign like every young up and comer ever. Even if Ronaldo got hurt or something I can't see them falling that far.
