Re: 2nd note on my car
[ QUOTE ]
I don't get your kind. It's so easy to be nice to people, to help someone out and make their day a little better. Instead you have to inconvenience yourself and the guy who just wants to have people pick up his recycled bottles or whatever. I guess if it makes for something funny to post on 2+2, it's worth it =\ [/ QUOTE ] my car in no way hindered his recycling or newspaper guy, as i stated earlier. you don't get my kind, but do you get his kind? |

[ QUOTE ] I didn't say that he was illegally parked. But old crotchety bastards often have lots of old crotchety bastard friends. He could easily have OP's POS towed and abandoned somewhere that I would quickly vanish. [/ QUOTE ] he would be an idiot to do anything. he does not know anything about me. i could be a complete nut capable of sodomizing his dog [/ QUOTE ] Could be? |

Re: 2nd note on my car
Bob,
As you stated in your first post on this subject, he said his ability to back out of his driveway was hindered by your parking. This is a real, and legitimate reason to ask you not to park there. Since you didn't respond to his totally polite request based on good reasons, it feels like he's grasping at straws to try to convince you to not park there. You said a couple times in this thread that his approach was just "less dickish" or some garbage like that "than it could have been." What would be the polite way for him to handle the situation? Wait by your car for you to show up, with a home-made meal, a beer, and a strip-o-gram? Seriously, if there's no reason to park there except to annoy the guy, don't do it. You sound like class all the way though! Also, nitty old men are more likely to know the law than you. Whatever, grow up. citanul |

Please don't. If he's posting here he's not posting thinly veiled brags and beats as mid-stakes strategy posts. --Nate |

Re: 2nd note on my car
of course Homer advocates PB to be nice. Homer's always the nice guy.
I think this is old, but put his house up for sale in the newspaper and specify contact times at odd hours of night due to work schedule... I did this to my old man neighbor once (hot summer day, he's got the tree that provides shade). I never met the guy, but he was in the driveway with his friend. I went up to meet the guy, his friend intercepted me and asked me why I parked there. I told him cause it was legal, and because I could. I told him to have a nice day and walked back to my home.
