Still, a ton of blame should be given to AK. He was a 3 earlier his career and way, way better than he was this season.

I kind of agree.. he seemed a bit mopey. But if you're running the pick and roll every time down the floor, putting AK at the 3 just doesn't buy you much. Ideally your wing players can shoot when you run a pick and roll offense. That's the one glaring problem with AK's game. He's an awful shooter. He's good at creating, rebounding, picking up some hustle points, but he's not a spot up shooter.

UTAH JAZZ:
1. Deron Williams
2. Carlos Boozer
3. Paul Milsap
4. Andrei Kirilenko
5. Mehmet Okur
6. Matt Harpring
7. Ronnie Brewer
8. Morris Almond
9. Gordon Giricek
10. Jarron Collins
10. Jason Hart?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think I would put Brewer that high, and would definitely put Kyrylo Fesenko at least ahead of Jarron Collins and Jason Hart. Funny how the highest paid guy on the team is at #4 at best (very arguably would fall below Okur) - and he's bitching about how he's being treated.

[/ QUOTE ]
meh, i think okur is an overrated asset. he's a big glorified shooting guard, who had a career year to get all star status - highly unlikely he scores that many ppg again. i truly hope they retain milsap, he needs more minutes.

and obv deron and boozer are the real deal

i agree with KC

other thing about AK though was his O game was never wonderful. really it is his defense that is amazing (blocks and steals, rebounds/positioning/hustle) and he was very lethargic this previous year. we will see if he returns to his somewhat dominant form, bc if he makes a huge impact defensively, i dont care about his shooting woes.

If you don't think he's a shoot first pg in the mold of Gilbert rather than a pass first like Baron, well I guess we disagree there.

[/ QUOTE ]

You lost me at "pass first like Baron".

as for barbosa, please see this clip.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't know what that has to do with the conversation at hand, but since we're off-topic I would love to see a youtube clip consisting solely of Biedrins shooting free throws.

[/ QUOTE ]

biedrins > Mark Price?

yeah the Monta > Barbosa clip really has nothing to do with anything, except for Monta being awesome.

Warriors

1. Andris Biedrins, C
2. Baron Davis, PG
3. Monta Ellis, PG
4. Stephen Jackson, SG/SF
5. Al Harrington, PF
6. Marco Belinelli, SG
7. Brandan Wright, PF
8. Kelenna Azubuike, SG/SF
9. Stephane Lasme, SF/PF
10. Patrick O'Bryant, C

What this tells me is wow, we had a lot of FA this offseason. It also tells me that when we cross off #'s 3,7,10 off this list in a few weeks and add #3 Kevin Garnett, PF/C that we'll need to add some players to this list.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you have Wright way too low. He was just traded straight up for Jason Richardson. Would you really only have had Richardson at #7? I'd put Wright at #4. I'd put Belinelli at #5.

[ QUOTE ]
2. Sam Dalembert
3. Andre Miller

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't get to see Dalembert much, but I'm surprised that the 76ers homers are ranking him above Miller.

[ QUOTE ]
1. Nash
2. Stoudemire
3. Marion
4. Bell
5. KT (if playing the spurs he could be as high as #3, can be as low as #7 if playing other teams)
6. Barbs
7. Diaw (with Amare out he was the 2nd-3rd most important on the team at times)
8. doesnt matter

[/ QUOTE ]
No way Barbosa is below Kurt Thomas or Raja Bell. Remember that this is 'assets.' Think about what each player would fetch in trade value.

[ QUOTE ]
1. Deng
2. Hinrich
3. Gordon
4. Tyrus
5. Ben Wallace
6. Noah
7. Noccioni
8. Thabo
9. Duhon

[/ QUOTE ]
I'd put Tyrus at #2, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with him this year.

[ QUOTE ]
1. Carmelo
2. AI
3. Camby
4. Nene (could be 3)
5. Atkins
6. JR Smith
7. Kleiza
8. K-mart
9. Evans
10. Dermarr Johnson (lol?)

[/ QUOTE ]
If we're taking salary into account then as long as KMart is healthy enough to play he has to be higher than that imo.

As for my team, I'll go....

1. Gilbert
2. Butler
3. Jamison
4. Stevenson

After that it gets really tough..

5. Young
6. Navarro(I assume he counts even though hes not under contract)
7. Haywood
8. Thomas
9. Blatche
10. Songaila

This was my first post here before it was cleared up before what assets meant. In that case you can probably just move Jackson off the list entirely as I'm sure no one wants to take him now given his situation, but he's much more valuable to us anyway. In that case yes, Wright definitely goes up.
