[censored] this is so [censored]. i just called her and was all "alright come to my hotel, see you in a bit!" and she was like "cool, what hotel," and i told her, sheraton in kowloon, and just as i was about to tell her my room number her phone cuts out, and now when i try to call her back it just goes straight to the busy signal.

i cant decide what to do now. i could go downstairs and wait for her, but for how long, and if she doesnt come ill feel like a bitch. or i could just go to the peak. or i could wait up for a bit and keep trying her phone for a while. agghhhh.

Dude, even if she's not a "working" girl doesn't mean she's not absurdly interested in robbing/stealing/hussling you. Just keep your eyes open y0! She comes to your room after, all too good to be true great night etc, you fall asleep, wake up ... all your stuff gone. Not from personal experience but have heared about that happening twice. yeah i mean... i know all of that stuff is possible, but like, it just seems so cynical to be cautious all the time. id rather believe in the best -- like, try not to be completely stupid, and be somewhat prepared for the worst -- but not spend my whole trip going "everyone is hustling me!!!" its just no fun that way, and it just strikes me as a depressing way to travel.

anyway i ended up not getting in touch with her, and going and having a great dinner on this 17th floor restaurant overlooking the city. was really beautiful, and the food was great, had dim sum and this ham that was advertised on one of those little flyers at the table, which advertisement ended with "making it quite possibly the best ham in the world." lol. it was pretty good.

i think im gonna try and head up to the "peak" now, not sure when stuff closes up there but hopefully i can still go. then maybe ill go out tonight, maybe not... havent decided, i really need to do laundry before i meet up with my tour in shanghai tomorrow, or else im gonna be wearing smelly clothes all the time while meeting new people. hmph.
