Default *Official WSOP* Event #3: $1,500 PLHE

I'm getting ready to head over to the Rio in a few minutes on the shuttle from Harrah's. If anyone else heads over I'll probably be stopping by the PokerStars booth and in that general area for a while. I'll be wearing a maroon t-shirt that says 'Biltmore Estate' and generally in clothes that look very similar to the picture in this online interview:

Day 1 Final Table Already?
Day 1 of the Pot-Limit Hold'em event has barely kicked off and there is already a first round table worthy of a television feature. Table 65 is stacked with pros including the likes of Joe Awada, Tony Ma, Minh Ly, Humberto Brenes, Men "The Master", and "Minneapolis" Jim Meehan. This could get very interesting, really fast.

Jesus. Hope pfkaok didn't get this table.

Wow- what a great chip stack- how many times has he NOT taken 1st having come into a final table with a 2:1 chip lead.

Also- is it possible that anyone else has on that table has much recent FT experience....probably not.

RIZEN OWNS!!! GL!

They announced 1100 starters, which means I probably finished about 1100th, as I went busto on the 6th hand with AA vs Gavin Smith's 76s on a flop of J63 rainbow.

I start the hand with 1450, him slightly more. He raises to 75 UTG and I reraise to 225 in the cutoff, and he calls. Flop is the aforementioned J63 rainbow. He checks, I bet 275, he calls. At this point, I am pretty sure my hand is good so I want to get all the chips in the middle.

Turn is a three, putting two diamonds on board, he checks, I Check, trying to make my hand look like a missed AK/AQ, and to induce him to bluff (or to call a bet from me) on the river with what I expect isn't a very strong hand (I expected he had something like 77).

River is a 9, completing the flush. He bets 600 I raise for the rest of what Ive got, and he calls with the flush.

You lost 60xbb all-in on the river with 1-pair and a 3-flush on the board?

This is bad, and that's all I'll say.
