[ QUOTE ]
You have one pair. You're going to call for 200 big blinds with one pair? Terrible advice IMO. Wait for a better spot (e.g. top two or a set) and stack this guy. Don't value-stack yourself. [/ QUOTE ] This isn't right at all. |

wow.. have been think so long about this one and still I have no idea what I'm facing here and how I would play it.
I'd probably call, because donks tend to overplay their draws in those spots quite often thinking they get alot more FE by overbet/shoving, but it could be a twopair aswell. About AA and QQ. Somehow I do not believe that those hands are in his range here very often, as he would probably 4 bet preflop in both cases. Another thing I made a up my mind for is, that I'm not folding my Overpair in a RR pot if there is no overcard on the board, no matter how deep I am. |

I've started calling these big pushes (100BB) with my pocket pairs and I have been amazed by what villains are showing
eg. Hero JJ raised preflop and called by villain in blinds. Flop 245 rainbow Hero Cbets and villain goes all in for 100BB Normally I would have folded this but since reading those advocating calling I did and guess what? Villain had 33!! I've since done this on 3 other occasions and each time I have been a Favorite. Still I'm not sure about calling it for 200BB though. |
