Seriously, the river play is expert as played given the read and the board, but you need to check behind on the turn. Villain either has a hand he wants to get to showdown cheaply with 66-99 or a hand he will c/r again knowing that you are an aggro monkey. The times that you do have the best hand, he's likely drawing to 3-outs and will bet the river for you anyways.

Just check the turn and call any river. Think about raising a A/K.

TUESDAY MORNING UPDATE FROM TEH WOODZ:

On Sunday night we met up w/ a couple of degens from the SSNL forums (silly unlimited hold them players) who showed up again last night. We all ate at Hard Rock Cafe last night and there was much jubilation and rejoicing.

After dinner the 8 of us (BBB, JJH, dchz, myself, DRF, ProfessorBen, and the two NL suckas) were able to get Foxwoods to spread a sweet drunkern $2/$4 HORSE game.

It was particularly loltastic because
1) we are all relatively loud and obnoxious in the first place
2) there were lots of gin and tonics and long island iced teas had by all
3) the NL guys had no idea how to play the minbet hold them (n00bz)
4) ????
5) profit

Also another guy who usually plays $2/$4 started playing a shorthanded 6max game w/ us after ProfBen left the table to play 30/60. BBB, TPK, JJH, DRF, dchz, and Foxwoods $2/$4 reg Dave. lol.

Ok, so when BBB and I get back tonight I'll be posting some sweet handz of goodness (and also tales of misery and woe). Later chumps.

My favorate part of the one night i was there was telling TPK i was gonna win the low in O8 while calling, still getting him to overcall, showing A2356, and saying ship it. He looks at my hand, looks at his hand, yells ship it, and tables A3456.

My least favorate part of the night was when TPK scooped a huge threehanded pot against me and someone? diana_ross_fan? with some good low and a pair of sixes.

Edit: Another great moment was in razz having Prof. Ben muck the K of spades before he brought in. The Machine and I both made him muck.

I think it was better when I raised Ks/9s/Qs then folded 4th street when my 4th spade came.

Not as good as when BBB folded a set of threes on the turn in O8 with no low possible cuz "he thought he was beat". river trey.

I think my favorite hand was in Hold'em round. Capping on the button w/ 52hh, calling 3 bets on the flop of J27r, and rivering 2 pair ftw.
