Default hughes vs penn

penn went to a decision with renzo a year ago. hughes took the best gracie fighting (shut up, rickson doesnt fight anymore) completely apart in the opening minutes of his fight.

moral of the story;

just like he said, hughes has basically got bjj neutralized. penn's going to try to stand and trade and end up on his back at least once per round, at which point a virtually unsubbable hughes is going to elbow him to the edge of death.

maybe penn can land a knee when matt shoots and catch him in a sub but im more than comfortable betting against that happening.

Well I missed the boat on Hughes at -105. Right now its at -181. Performity has mentioned that he thinks the late money will come in on Penn, how much do you think this will move the line? I think I'll sit this out till then hoping to get the best value on Hughes at the end. Thoughts?

Its still a decent lead, I think you'll see Penn at +200. I don't think you'll be finding a better price then now.

Hughes is -206 right now, I'm gonna wait till right before the fight hoping it goes down a bit. Otherwise I'll probably sit this one out.

It is a value at anything under -250. Hughes is a machine and Penn just isn't where he needs to be.

I'll have my normal full card writeup done probably wednesday, assuming Pinny hits the full card lines tomorrow.

Those of you holding Hughes -105 on my earlier recommendation, keep holding. This will keep moving our way for the arbitrage.

Swope, i agree - better to start a new thread i think.
