i am always uncomfortable when i am around my younger female cousin's friends. i feel like i have to go out of my way to keep from being nice, funny, etc. do not even like making long eye contact or smiling at them because they are always too flirtacious. i look forward to when she is in college however.

my older brother is a highschool teacher and when he first started he told me how bizarre it was when students would overtly try to flirt with him. he said though after a while he just stopped noticing it or paying any attention and it got a lot less weird and became a non-issue.

he has told me about seeing former students out after they graduated and how they pretty much came onto him. but he was then dating at the time so didn't take advantage of it.

just be the cool teacher without being creepy, then reap the rewards of 19-21 year-olds for years to come.

That's an awful game. I used to be one of the dickwads that played it. Usually it just came down to some kind of code word or even a yes or no, but everyone knows what you mean. Well, if you're going to suck, being young is the best time.
