Finished my first real draft, it was autolist ranking draft so I don't like a lot of the picks but what do you think of what it gave me? Standard scoring, 6 pt for pass td, 20 yards per rush/rec yards.

QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/T, W/R, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

1. (3) Frank Gore RB
2. (22) Steve Smith WR
3. (27) Edgerrin James RB
4. (46) Lee Evans WR
5. (51) Donald Driver WR
6. (70) Jerricho Cotchery WR
7. (75) Vincent Jackson WR
8. (94) Matt Hasselbeck QB
9. (99) Benjamin Watson TE
10. (118) Carolina DEF
11. (123) Neil Rackers K
12. (142) DeShaun Foster RB
13. (147) Warrick Dunn RB
14. (166) Mike Furrey WR
15. (171) Owen Daniels TE
16. (190) Green Bay DEF
17. (195) David Garrard QB

Looks solid to me for autolist draft, thoughts?

How'd I do?

12 teams
4 points passing td 1point for 25 yards throwing
-2 for int

6 points rush/rec td
1 pt. 10 yards rush
1 pt for 7 yards rec

2nd pick

1. Steven Jackson
2.Deuce Mcallister
3. Antonio Gates
4.TJ Houshmanzadeh
5.Lee Evans
6.Julius Jones
7.Vince Young
8.Jerricho Cotchery
9.Muhsin Muhammad
10.Mike Furrey
11.Adrian Peterson(bears)
12.Mark Clayton
13.Brett Favre
14.Pitt
15.Jason Elam

[/ QUOTE ]

With that scoring I would have definitely taken a top WR with the 2nd or 3rd pick. Dont really like deuce there. Like housh and evans there, maybe a little early for ju jo. Really like Cotchery and Muhammad picks. Favre has a lot of value there.

Overall B+

My second draft - here's how it turned out. Any thoughts?

10 team league, I had the #7 pick
7 points for all TDs
1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving
1 point per 20 yards passing (so QBs are valued higher)
Defense is valued a little higher too

Round 1 - Peyton Manning (QB)
2 - Willis McGahee (RB)
3 - Reggie Wayne (WR)
4 - Antonio Gates (TE)
5 - Marshawn Lynch (RB)
6 - TJ Houshmanzadeh (WR) - I was shocked he fell this far btw
7 - Ahman Green (RB)
8 - Lav. Coles (WR)
9 - Fred Taylor (RB)
10 - Patriots Defense
11 - Joey Galloway (WR)
12 - Tony Romo (QB)
13 - Neil Rackers (K)
14 - Chris Brown (RB)

I feel like I'm a little weak at RB but I obviously love my QB, TE, WR's, and DEF. I feel like if my RB situation works out, I could have an awesome team. What do you all think?

As you said, your RBs are very shaky. Getting Housh there is a steal. I would have skipped Romo and looked for another RB. The only time you aren't starting Peyton is on his bye week, so I try and get some depth at RB since I'm pretty weak

Need good advice here!!!

12-team league, all TDs = 6 pts, PPR.

I have the 9th pick, so I pick 9 and 16. Based on most mock drafts I get Parker, Bush or Manning at #9, and I can take Jones-Drew at #16, or basically any top-3 receiver.

Who do you take at #9?
Do you like Jones-Drew at #16, or a top-3 receiver?
I prefer Jones-Drew to Mcgahee (normally not there at #16) - thoughts?

The draft pretty much plays itself out from rounds 3 and on, but I'm unsure as to what to do with the #9 pick. Also, I do not want Travis Henry, but I'm fairly certain he will not be around at #16.

I ran into that same situation. Bush was gone, it was basically Westbrook or Parker. I had Westbrook last year, and frankly he stressed me out too much. Nobody likes listening to the radio/tv for 2 hours to find out if the guy is going to play. So I took Parker, and felt pretty good about it. A lot of people put Pits as a playoff team this year (which I dunno about). But he should get a lot of work....

The tough pick was the second one. I could have taken Mcgahee, Henry, few other guys in that skill set. I thought about it more, and then decided to take a stud wideout (manning was gone). I dunno if that's a big mistake, but I feel like somewhere you need to have big stars. Even at the cost of RB depth.

I just don't see someone with Parker-Mcgahee-Lewis winning any damn pool.

I'm pretty sure I raped my annual live draft league... Am I wrong?
H2H, no PPR, 14 teams, standard Yahoo scoring, 1qb,2rb,3wr,1te,1k,1d,many bench spots:

5. Gore
24. Gates
33. McNabb
52. Jacobs
61. Coles
80. Muhammad
89. Mark Clayton
108. Bruce
117. Morency
136. Favre
145. Curry
164. Green Bay
173. Oakland
192. Randel El
201. Jeff Reed

Just had my first draft on yahoo(10ppl), we play with standard scoring plus points for catches and receptions (this might be standard im not sure)
QB:P.Manning, Hasselbeck
WR:A.Johnson, D.Jackson, M.Muhammad, Matt Jones, E.Kennison,
RB:Travis Henry, Edge, Portis, Kevin Jones
TE:Gonzo
K:Olindo Mare
DEF:NE
D:Shawn Merriman

Bah not sure what to do about my WR's they are pretty weak and I dont think I should trade a RB untill after KJ gets back and see if he can play or not.

I think taking Parker over Westbrook in a PPR league is a pretty big mistake.
