TV: What are you watching tonight?

I'm not nearly dedicated to TV enough to do this.

This fall, I'll probably start a new thread for fall shows, and there are a number of ones I'm interested in checking out, like Life, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Bionic Woman, K-Ville, and maybe I'll make room for one more if 2+2 points out a hit from some of the mediocre-sounding new shows. I'll also be following Heroes, DwtS, 30 Rock, and The Office, so I some of those new shows aren't going to get more than a couple viewings. As bad as 24 was last season, I'm going to have to give it a shot again this season. My patience with it will be limited, though. I don't want to get wrapped up in too many shows.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but I saw a commercial on HBO that said new episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm start Sep. 9th. CYE is in my top 3 favorite comedy show of all time. I highly recommend everyone get the DVDs of the first 4 seasons.

Have any of you caught "Mad Men" yet?
It's on AMC, Thursday's I think.

It's about the Advertising Execs on Madison Avenue in the 1950's. Thought it was pretty cool, I've just seen the first two episodes so far though.

I was watching a little bit of one episode before I knew what it was just because I was fascinated by the 50s-60s furniture and cars. Very cool look to that show. Thought it was interesting how much everyone was smoking. Even the women were chain smoking.

It looked a little arch to me. Also like the kind of thing that would be best watched without commercials for two or three shows at a time. Maybe more rentable than viewable first time around.
