Wow. Justin Medlock went before Mason Crosby.

That's surprising.

I mean everyone deserves a second chance, hell just ask Pacman Jones, he kicked him "crime habit".

Go Jaws! On ESPN, Jaws just spent the last 5 minutes saying all the stuff about Vick that I've been saying for the last 2 years.

Cleveland Browns (B)

[/ QUOTE ]

They picked 2 of the top 5 players in the draft, how is that a B? As others have said grading drafts before players ever take the field is kind of pointless. A year ago I would've given the Bears draft an F; Devin Hester, Mark Anderson and Danieal Manning turned out alright.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, that's mostly the result of the Browns trading a third, fourth and sixth round pick for a second round pick and then using it to pick troublemaker Eric Wright.

Without that, they'd have at least a B+, most likely an A-.

Draft procedure question: How did the Jags get two consecutive picks in the 5th round. Neither are listed as trades or compensory picks. Any explaination?

After looking over everything and hearing everyone say the Jags needed help at DE was just dumb. Hayward is at full strength now and he was a premier pass rusher in the league. McCray was outstanding last year, the only problem here was he has not signed his tender which he is expected to do so before any mandatory meetings. Spicer was a fantastic fill in last year. The team was the #2 defense with Darius, Stroud, Peterson, and Hayward hurt for either part of the season or the entire season. The defense is full of studs and with Nelson coming in they are prepared to be #1.

Durant ended up being a great Del Rio pick after learning more about him. The pick is almost identical to Rashean Mathis. Durant = Lawrence Timmons. Mike Walker added much needed speed and great pick with Podlesh.

I am so pumped with this draft as it is fantastic on paper.

Hmm thanks, neither said (from Atlanta) by it, guess it's just a typo.

In all likelyhood the Colts 1st rounder next year will be 25+, so it's basically a second rounder, not that high a price.

[/ QUOTE ]

the #25 pick in the draft is worth a ton. it's ultimate value is probably not much worse than the #15, b/c on average the player you get at #25 ends up being nearly as good as the #15 player (minus the pre-draft hype) + you get to pay him a lot less.

Colts draft Roy Hall WR from Ohio State, not that this pick matters this much, but someones gonna have to explain this one too me. Practice squad maybe?

Edit: Ok they just took a CB Coe, urge to kill falling, falling, rising, falling, gone.
