Yeah that hand was harsh, I've just got back from playing my weekly league in the pub and hearing people talk about how they nearly made £70 one week or was done out of £150 the week before just makes me so happy that I've managed to make £1000 in two days. (and you should have seen the suckouts I won to make it to 5th)

All in all I'm loving my poker career.

My Trip to the Hospital

I used to take my health for granted. But, my trip to the hospital changed all that. It all started with a restless night. I was up tossing and turning, unable to go to sleep. Eventually I stopped caring and just decided to stay up. I was worried because I wasn’t feeling very well at the time. I am not one to miss class though, so I decided to be a trooper. I took a shower and got prepared to go to class. Took the bus ride from my apartment to the PRT, waited outside for a few minutes and hopped on. All of a sudden I feel queasy. Then everything started to get white, I thought “Oh crap this is it, I’m dieing.” I was pretty peaceful about it and kind of just accepted it. Then finally everything went white and I passed out for like 4 seconds. I got up and asked my teacher to call me an ambulance, I was pretty embarrassed when they came and got me in front of my whole class. Whatever though, I don’t even know any of those peoples names.
I got to the hospital and they asked me a ton of questions. In particular they asked me if I had a headache about 25 times. Then they ran a ton of tests on me. They hooked me up to a heart monitor and then the doctor left. The heart monitor went “beep, beep, beep”, and had that green line that moved up and down. Similar to what you see on TV. I ripped my heart monitor off because I had to go to the bathroom, and the line went flat and the machine started going crazy because it thought I was dead. The scariest part was that no doctors came, even though I was flat lining. Wow, good thing I didn’t have a real heart attack. Six hours later the doctors told me I was fine, but I needed to eat better and exercise more. But I will never take my health for granted again, I learned a lot of things about health when I went to the hospital and I don’t want to go back anytime soon.
