How many hands do you think is needed on a player before you can really trust the fish rating? I mean, this guy with 500 hands, 20% VPIP, 15% PFR, 2 agg factor and 43BB/100 gets a score of 1.6. How should I use that number?

But our fish score predicts the players win rate, and we did this by analyzing 1,000's of players. It might be that this player has a winning play style, that just happens to match the stats of play styles other players lose with. There is no such thing as a perfect scoring system. It just has to be as good as it can possibly be. -Ben |

Huge improvement Ben, this makes FT usable, thanks.
Any chance for faster server side scanning anytime soon? I'm never getting under 4 mins these days for FT, and even that's somewhat rare. Admittedly, it's not a huge problem, but it used to be regularly 2-3 mins for Party. I would also very much like to see a "waiting list" field for tables that I can filter on, but it won't be very useful if the tables are more than 4 mins old. |

few things:
1. still no support for the full tilt deep nl tables. 2. when average vpip is calculated, it averages in people with 0 hands as 0 vpip. 3. when i have 2 databases selected, it seems to pick one to grab hands from rather than adding them together |

He does the scanners. I'll check on #2. I remember considering # of hands when calculating the avg, but maybe I did it wrong. #3 - the solution is to use PTAgg. If you don't want to use PTAgg, make sure your largest and most recent databases are at the TOP of the list in SS's Config DB's dialog. -Ben |
