[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Arsenal cruise to a 3-0 win against Tottenham. Two PK goals by Gilberto, another goal by Adebayor, who looked real good. [/ QUOTE ] so much for this variance we talked about. 3 botched calls=3 arsenal goals. offside not called, foul when player got ball for pk, foul on flop for pk, horray refs/complaining arsenal fans... rj [/ QUOTE ]I only saw the last call, it did seem bad. Graham Poll was the ref. I thought he called a very inconsistent game. [/ QUOTE ] On the BBC they have a visual device for helping with OFS decisions. The first goal was legitimate as there was a defender moving upfield as the ball was played so when the ball was recieved it looked bad but wasnt. The second penalty wasnt though and should never have been given. |

TOAFK, saw the replay, you think the VP penalty was a bad call? Why?
RJ, I just posted the middle of the pack to show how freaking tight it is there. Not that Arsenal was at the top of it. Pretty crazy stuff IMO. |

Re: **** OFFICIAL Premiership 2006-07 season Thread!*****
It is lpool vs arse in the fa cup.
Tottenham get fecking Cardiff. Chelsea get fecking Macclesfield. Liverpool get home advantage, and tend to do well in the cups, so I'm not terribly bothered. Still, I would prefer Macclesfield... What do the gunners fans think? |

Tough draw for Arsenal/Liverpool, but I would be more worried if I was a Pool fan.

It was likely "obvious" to them that after last years rigging that the premiership sides kept avoiding each other, that this year there would be a high profile matchup early on to remove their fears Lori |
