i was about to make pretty much the same post. she felt bad about losing/stealing mark's money. she didn't want to be held responsible. so she pretended to try to kill herself. its better to have someone feel sorry for you than to have them be super pissed off, right?

usually this works, because its hard to tell a person who might be suicidal to stop being a retard, cuz then if they do kill themselves it kinda sucks.

but anyway, if brandi had killed herself, she probably wouldn't have been missed much.

I felt exactly the same way about Dutch Boyd after seeing those videos from Vegas. At first, it's like blood in the water...hey this is hysterical, etc etc.

But then I felt sort of like John Turturro at the end of Quiz Show, when he has a chance to revel in Van Doren's fall from grace, and instead, he shrinks away from it because it's so much of a car crash.

I wouldn't want anyone to feel as sh*tty as these two compromised souls seem to feel. I hope they both get some serious help.

The responses at the start of this thread show why it will always be easy for girls like Brandi to get money from guys, especially young guys w/ lots of money (ie: the poker world).

As soon as shaniac made his initial post in this thread, most of this stuff should have been pretty clear to anyone who was not completely clueless.

BluffThis, as usual, made a number of good points, but managed to hijack his own points with a few relatively unnecessary comments sure to provoke outrage from posters. He has another good point in his recent posts. Some of the comments he was vilified for are the same sorts of things people now apparently are ready to high-five and laugh about (and of course, as he's acknowledged, his "asking for it" comment was ridiculous and out of line).

As for Brandi, her story is pretty much the same story as tons of girls in the club/drug/stripper/escort world (not that she necessarily was those things). If you've known people like that, often people who had horrible family lives and abuse growing up, this all sounds very standard. They exist in the middle of a chain, taking advantage of guys who want to be nice to them while getting victimized repeatedly by guys who are good at taking advantage of this type of girl.
