Early in the session Dan Shak calls OOP with K9, flops top two, let's the flop check through, someone turns a set and he c/c's two streets of betting.
Next, he c/c's a drawy board (with a draw) against Daniel, turn checks through (brick), river bricks he fires and Daniel looks him up with like 3rd pair. He looks to be steaming now. Next comes this gem: 300/600 Trincher (tight) raises to 2200 in EP with AhKh. Folds around to Dan Shak in the BB who calls with KsQd. Flop comes down Qh Ts 6h. Shak checks, Trincher bets 3400, Shak calls. Turn comes Js. Shak checks, Trincher bets 6200, Shak calls. River comes 2s. Shak checks again, Trincher bets 14000, Shak checkraises to 34000, Trincher calls. Way to checkraise such a small callable amount, nice backdoor flush value line! The tight player that raised UTG and has shown consistent strength on all streets on a big board just might fold to that check/minraise! Or call with a naked jack I guess! |
