[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Jesus I creamed my pants at the end. In the previews for next week it showed Jamie Gold going all-in and Patrik Antonius insta-calling. Wow that's going to be awesome. If he called with some mid strength hand to snap off a huge bluff I think I'll die. [/ QUOTE ] I saw Jamie Gold last week playing a limit tournament, and he seemed very happy. I kind of want him to win that hand actually, I want gold to be an idol to the masses, and not antonius [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]. [/ QUOTE ] gold's [censored] irritating. "i want to be the best bluffer ever" ok sir, just keep firing randomly when you have air with no thought for board texture, your range or your opponents. He might just be the best! i hope PA owns him, he probably will. [/ QUOTE ] wow, next week looks amazing, i couldnt wait, so i PM'd barry G and he sent me the hh..... Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV 2007 (nc)
BGnight,
Sorry if I come off sounding like a dick, but I played with you yesterday and thought you were playing pretty poorly. I just came out of a 50k breakeven, and looking back now it really messed with my game more than I thought at the time. I spent more time worrying/bithcing about my results than being introspective about my game. Your time would be much better spent if you tried discussing hands rather than bemoaning losing them. |

Just saw the new HSP. Wasn't *that* interesting imho. Although couple situations that gave some pause like the flush over flush and the 72o bluff hand.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, yesterday I kinda got into a robotic tilt mode. I'm trying to keep it together right now, so I can eliminate the spew from my game, but I seem to give at least one stack away each session. I really don't want to turn into FGators and become ignorant to my leaks. I usually start out focused, get 3 outered and go on monkeytilt. Yesterday was really bad. I was in a bad place mentally. |

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV 2007 (nc)
[ QUOTE ]
the lineup in ep 11 in HSP makes me cream my pants. jesus christ, that game is so -ev right now. [/ QUOTE ] Guy Laliberte is noataima fwiw, high stakes fish on FTP. And obv with people like Farha and Gold who are there to gamble and spew everywhere there's still money to be made. Also, every time I watch HSP I just cry to myself that cts doesn't play on this show. All of these pros play so passively (Negreanu comes to mind - he reads hands pretty well but never ever runs complex bluffs, wtf?!) and it's so rare that we see solid multi-level thinking going on in any hand that I have to believe he would just own them. Also, BRING BACK SBRUGBY! I mean maybe it wouldn't make great TV for people at home who are like "who are these internet players", but anyone who does play online would prob be pretty interested by this, and the producers do seem to care about putting good poker on television, as displayed by the fact that they got this $500k game going in the first place.
